Welcome!  I’m Eden, the creative designer behind Garden of Eden Design.

I’ve been around flowers for as long as I can remember.  My love of floral design was first inspired working on my family’s specialty cut flower farm set amidst the mountains in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and has grown into a design career where I can take the highest quality, seasonal cut blooms and foraged stems to create designs that enhance all of life’s celebrations.  Growing up on a flower farm instilled in me a true appreciation for the beauty of nature.  Not just the perfect flowers- I love the unusual and funky variations that the world often surprises us with.  Crooked poppy stems, odd-shaped branches- all of these are elements that lend themselves to great designs!

I’m a mom to 5 rambunctious kids  (3 boys and 2 girls, all under 6) and I’ve been married to the kindest man on the planet for 6 years.  I first studied floral design at The Floral Design Institute in 2008, and have been in business for 10 years serving families throughout Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.  Every client since that sweet, first couple, has taught me something about life, design, and passion.

My work is inspired by nature and I specialize in organic, garden-styled floral designs and seasonal arrangements.  As a designer,  I prefer to let sweet, delicate stems be frivolous accents, while beautiful and lush blooms- like peonies- be a restful area to your eye.   I love the personality and spunk that nature often surprises us with and seek to enhance these moments in every arrangement.
